Silver linden farm welcomes artstanding

New Haven, IN --- Artstanding, by the late champion sire Artsplace, out of the highly successful broodmare Jasmine Hanover (by Western Hanover) will stand the 2008 breeding season at Silver Linden Farm of Indiana for an introductory service fee of $3,500.

Artstanding, owned by James Switlyk and Bob Gorney, and bred by Hanover Shoe Farms, amassed over $600,000 in earnings, capped by his impressive 2-year-old mark of 1:52.2, beating millionaires Western Ace and Artistic Fella in the $175,000 NJSS Final.

At 2, he also finished second to Western Ace in the $160,000 Lou Babic Memorial Final and was second to Jereme’s Jet in the $593,032 Governor’s Cup Final at Woodbine.

At 3, Artstanding finished second in the $500,000 NJ Classic Final, timed in 1:50, and won the elimination of the Cane Pace at Freehold.

Artstanding is out of the dam Jasmine Hanover, who has also produced Little Miss Dragon (by Dragon Again), with career earnings of over $650,000 at 2 and 3.
